Another social route has been launched in the Bilenkivska community in Zaporizhzhia
On July 7, the first trip of another social route of ADRA Ukraine, implemented in cooperation with the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund, took place in the Bilenkivska community of Zaporizhzhia district of Zaporizhzhia region. This community has almost 10,000 residents including around 1000 IDPs. The need for a social route arose since the beginning of the intensification of hostilities in February 2022, when the transport connection stopped here.
“The villages of our community are quite spread out,” – says Svitlana Zachepylo, a head of Bilenke village, “some people have to travel almost 100 kilometers to get medical or social services. It is extremely difficult for pensioners and IDPs, taking into account the situation. But due to our cooperation with ADRA Ukraine, people will be able to solve many urgent issues absolutely free of charge. On behalf of all residents of the community, I express our great gratitude for this project.”
In general, two social routes operate twice a week in the community, covering nine settlements. Registration for free trips is carried out by village chiefs.
If you have any questions about operation of the social route, you can contact the project hotline:

As of July 22, 2022, ADRA Ukraine provides uninterrupted service for 30 social routes in eight communities of Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv regions. Since February of this year, within the framework of the project, 3,013 people have been evacuated to safe places, 9,878 people have been provided with access to vital infrastructure.
