In Irpin, Kyiv Region, on August 16th, ADRA Ukraine officers met with the town authorities and residents of a building at 52-A Kotlyarevskoho Street, where the repair works had been recently completed. The meeting was devoted to the results of the “Assistance during the Winter Period 2022-2023 in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kharkiv Region” project implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Humanitarian Fund (UHF). It was summarized the total amount of assistance provided by ADRA Ukraine with the support of the UHF to the town has exceeded UAH 18 million.

Oleksandr Markushyn, the Mayor of Irpin, who was present during the meeting stressed that ADRA Ukraine was one of the new organizations that offered such a substantial support to Irpin residents. He expressed his appreciation for the cooperation and awarded the organization’s representatives with the letters of gratitude. Deputy leader of ADRA Ukraine, Oleksnadr Dulher, who was present during the meeting stressed that the charitable foundation would continue supporting the hero town of Irpin in the housing restoration and providing assistance to the town residents.

In total, 13 residential buildings in Irpin were repaired over the course of the project, including roof repairs, facade work, delivery of building materials, boiler repairs and the construction of a shelter for IDPs.

In addition, more than 40 families in the town received construction materials vouchers equivalent to UAH 43,500 and UAH 91,000. Also in January 2023, two generators were delivered to Irpin to equip the Invincibility Points.

A residential building at 52-A Kotliarevskoho Street was the last facility in this town to be repaired under the project. The roof was repaired and a damaged floor beam was replaced.
