In Mykolaiv region ADRA Ukraine installs water purification equipment with the support of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
In the Bashtansky district of the Mykolaiv region, work continues on the installation of water purification equipment in the catering units of schools, kindergartens, hospitals. The donor of the project is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Water samples were taken, water analyzes were made in the Mykolaiv SES and on the basis of these analyzes, a technical assignment for the tender was developed. Tender held and contractors selected. Currently, water purification stations are being completed and delivered for installation.
Water treatment stations are a very urgent help for the local population, because the situation with water supply and sanitation in the Mykolaiv region is extremely bad due to unsatisfactory water quality, environmental pollution due to the undermining of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Station and power outage caused by the aggravation of hostilities.
