On November 15, the first social trip took place from Sviatohirsk, Donetsk region, that was under occupation for three months. Transportation assistance is provided within the framework of LEAP project with the support of the Government of Canada.
During the period of active hostilities, a large number of residential buildings in Sviatohirsk were partially or completely damaged. The infrastructure has been destroyed in the community, there is no transport connection. That’s why residents do not have access to basic needs: medical and social services. Despite this, about 2,000 residents currently live in Sviagohirsk community.
Thanks to social transportation from ADRA Ukraine, residents of the community now have access to medical, banking, social and administrative institutions.
In case of evacuation, our social transportation will be able to transport people to the railway station of Kramatorsk or Pokrovsk.
