Workshops and joint events: ADRA Ukraine employees exchange experience with colleagues from around the world
ADRA Ukraine is part of the worldwide network of Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) that operates in more than 130 countries. One of the important points of our team’s development is regular workshops and meetings with employees of other ADRA offices to share experience and improve activities of the organization.
Thus, in September, representatives of ADRA Canada visited ADRA Ukraine team. During the visit, they discussed current issues and peculiarities of activities of the organization in the conditions of the military conflict, visited beneficiaries and saw the work of the team. In October, representatives of ADRA Germany visited Ukraine again. And thanks to the visit of colleagues from ADRA Slovakia, we jointly distributed food assistance to internally displaced persons in Chernivtsi and Zakarpattia regions.
On October 3, a workshop for ADRA Ukraine employees called “After Action Review” took place in Kyiv. The team determined the effectiveness of activities of the charitable organization during the military conflict, analyzed implemented activities and forecast new ones. Robert Patton, an analyst and representative of ADRA International, also shared his experience and advice during the event.
