216 families in Chernihiv region and Kharkiv region will receive winterization assistance
In July, the ADRA Ukraine team completed the registration of residents of the Horodnia community of Chernihiv region and the Novopokrovsk community of Kharkiv region to receive financial assistance for preparation for the 2026–2027 heating season.
A total of 216 war-affected households were registered. The families will be able to use the received funds to purchase “RUF” fuel briquettes in order to prepare their homes in advance for the cold season and meet the winter more confidently.
Registration took place within the framework of the Mental Health, Winterization and Protection (MHWP) project, which is implemented by ADRA Ukraine with the financial support of the Government of Canada through ADRA Canada. The project combines preparation for the winter period with measures to protect the population and provide services in the field of mental health and psychosocial support.
The ADRA Ukraine team thanks the communities for their open cooperation and everyone who participated in the registration organization. Together, we help Ukrainian families prepare for winter, preserving warmth, safety and dignity.
