The project of emergency food aid to the affected population of Ukraine with the support of the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) goes on. As of today, the project is being implemented in the following areas:
– provision of bread: Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia regions – 477,909 loaves of bread have been distributed during this week.
– Essential food kits: Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv – 2,379 food kits have been distributed.
– Food kits: Kyiv (and Kyiv region), Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Donetsk regions – 16,985 food kits.
– Baby food: Odesa, Chernihiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk regions – 223 boxes.

“Hope for Ukraine” Project. IDPs living in the settlements of Kyiv, Vinnytsia, and Cherkasy regions have received food assistance. Despite the difficult situation, food assistance for Kherson residents continues being provided. In particular, more than 500 people have received food assistance. In addition, more than 200 people have been assisted in rebuilding war-damaged doors in Bucha and Hostomel. Project volunteers have also purchased and distributed essentials to rebuild destroyed houses in the local area.

Within ADRA Ukraine Project on psychological support, more than 18 psychologists provide free assistance to women, men, children and people of retirement age offline and online every day: individual consultations, group classes and trainings on crisis psychology concerning issues of panic attacks, child-parent relations, etc. During the last month, more than 1,500 people have received this assistance.

Within the project on humanitarian transportation with the support of UHF and ADRA Ukraine, social routes have been launched in two communities of Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions. Social routes cover 50 settlements. As of today, ADRA Ukraine provides uninterrupted running of 26 social routes in five communities of Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions. Since February 2022, more than 6,000 people have received assistance under the project.
