Ukrainian hospitals have received vacuum apparatuses for the treatment of complex traumatic wounds and burns
In connection with active hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, more and more people with severe wounds or burns are admitted to hospitals.
Within the framework of the project, with the support of ADRA Sweden, the delivery of vacuum therapy apparatuses and consumables for the treatment of such injuries was completed. Thanks to vacuum apparatuses, the rehabilitation process of patients is significantly accelerated, the wound is cleaned efficiently, and there is no need for frequent dressing changes.
In total, seven apparatuses have been distributed to hospitals in Kherson and one to the City Hospital in Chernivtsi for a total amount of UAH 623,497.
Since it is practically impossible to purchase this medical equipment in Ukraine, the assistance received has become extremely important, especially in the conditions of martial law.
