Food assistance has been continuously provided to the population of Ukraine thanks to ADRA Ukraine project, implemented in cooperation with UN World Food Program since April 2022.
The assistance includes distribution of food products for various purposes, including fresh bread, food kits, baby food, etc. Volunteers reach even hard-to-reach regions, territories that are under constant shelling and have destroyed infrastructure.
Every day, assistance within the project reaches new heights. Thus, over the entire period, 14,591,109 loaves of fresh bread have been distributed to people in need. Distributions were held in seven regions of Ukraine, now they are taking place in Donetsk, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions.
The project team has also distributed 175,324 baby food kits.
The distribution of food kits of various purposes, weighing from 12.5 to 20 kg, is ongoing. In total, about 1,920,000 kits have already been distributed.
According to Coordinators of the project, people are waiting very much for this assistance because it is extremely important and vitally necessary in many regions because of critical situation in the humanitarian sphere.
To date, the team of the charitable organization actively continues to provide assistance to residents of Ukraine within the framework of the project.
